Announcements
The next meeting of the Lanier Striper Club will be on Tuesday, January 3th and will be at the normal location, Roanoke Baptist Church which is located approximately one-half mile west of the dam on Buford Dam Rd. Dinner at 6:30, meeting at 7:00 p.m.
We will be offering dinner for $10 for which you will need to purchase and present a meal ticket in order to eat.
Lake Lanier Boat Ramp Status Report
Check out the club's latest activity in giving back to the community.
The LSC recently donated fishing equipment to the USACE's project in which they established a catfish pond for people with disabilities to enjoy. Read about it on page 10 of the July 2010 issue of Lakeside News.

FUN FEST 2011
The date for our third FUN FEST is September 17, 2011. Once again we are limiting the number of boats to 60, so register early to ensure a spot!
Registrations & Prizes
The participation fee is only $200 per boat.
Participants will receive:
- A free camera phone which you will use to photograph your fish & is yours to keep
- Invitation to Captains Party for 2 people, additional guest tickets may be purchased
- 2 free fishing shirts, additional shirts available for sale
- Invitation to the Reception, 2 meal tickets provided

Virtual Weigh-in
Each boat will have a Check-it Stik to measure the length of the fish caught.
Participants will take pictures and email/text message them in to a central contact.
The central contact will collect emails/texts and report tournament standings and other details back to all participants.
